Project Role Description :
Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

IBM Z/OS Operating Systems

Key Reponsibilities :
Monitor critical batches & console alerts.
- Report batch issues. Apply SOP to troubleshoot.
- Perform IPL/HMC operations and system maintenances.
- Handle system breakdowns - Emergency IPL, Dumps
- Identify & report risks to SLAs and engage stakeholders
- Monitor System performance
Expertise with batch scheduling tools - particularly in TWS tool. Good to have experience with other scheduling tools like CA-ESP, CA-7, or Control-M
- Experience to work with Spool management tools, system monitoring and automation tools
- Expertise & knowledge to perform IPL and knowledge of HMC operations
- Experienced to support Production/LIVE environment in 24x7 support model
