Overview : As a 180° Recruiter, this person will focus on the entire candidate side of the journey, from understanding the JD, candidate identification to on boarding and everything in between. We are looking for a seasoned recruiter that knows how to network and find the right talent for our clients.• 5+ years of White Collar Engineering recruiting experience focusing on all positions in Civil engineering on projects such as Buildings, roads, bridges, etc. • 10+ years of total experience. • 35-45 age. • White collar engineering recruitment a must. • Must have worked on all typical trades such as quantity surveyors, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, draughts man, construction managers, planning managers, project managers, • International recruitment experience is highly preferred. • Bachelor’s degree preferred. MBA a plus. • Proven experience with sourcing, social media recruiting techniques and other current web-based employment strategies. • Outstanding organizational skills to manage candidates and stake holders. • Exceptional communication skills and soft spoken. • Demonstrated ability to close offers and overcome objections. • Sense of urgency to meet the demands of our fast growth initiatives. • Keen eye for talent – (proven success, attitude and cultural enrichment are all huge factors in selecting the right talent). • Ability to interact with and influence . • Should possess strong problem solving skills and the ability to make sound judgement calls• Understand all white collar vacancies in the Civil Engineering Sector • Must be active on social media forums, attend career fairs, make cold calls and any other creative methods they can conceive of to locate qualified individuals. • Must be charismatic and fostering a good relationship with these potential employees is very important. Interact with candidates and build relationships with them and build a databank of prospects for the job categories we are targeting. • The ability to conduct interviews is essential. Some will be tasked with all interviewing responsibilities while others may do an informal interview session to decide whether or not we candidates should be submitted to the client. • They should be able to technically understand JD and conduct technical shortlisting of candidates. • They role they must have knowledge of interview techniques and be good at reading people. • They must also be able to perform the hiring process which may include collecting and filing paperwork, ordering background checks, salary negotiations and providing new employee orientation assistance. • Prepare candidates for interviewing with hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, background, job descriptions, and expectations. • Building and maintaining a strong recruiting pipeline of candidates for the future. • Recruit for all assigned open positions and communicate timely actions and next steps with team and hiring managers on a weekly basis. • Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house recruiting platforms and ATS (Workforce) to identify the best candidates. • Create/update job descriptions and detailed search assignments and gain an understanding of job duties responsibilities and business requirements. • Provide exceptional recruitment experience to all candidates. • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from interviews to closing the offer. • Coordinate candidate travel when needed. • Answer questions regarding international job placement benefits by completely understand the opportunity themselves first. • Prepare and place open job requisitions in our ERP. • Network internally and externally to seek out referrals. • Travel with visiting delegations as and when required.
