HPE HPC Product Marketing Specialist

  

This role has been designated as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

As a Product Marketing Specialist in the HPE High Performance Computing Product Marketing team, you build and communicate the overall HPE supercomputing value to internal and external audiences, creating narratives, marketing content and experiences to scale our messages and technical content. In this role, you'll enhance the differentiation of HPE in collaboration with peer marketing and product teams.

In this position, you'll support key marketing projects and contribute creativity and excellent collaboration skills in one or more high performance computing product areas while building expertise to become a subject matter expert around our HPC business. In addition to knowing how to influence teams outside of your direct organization, you will prioritize and communicate effectively, building collaborative working relationships with peers, leaders, and other Product and Marketing groups across HPE.

Responsibilities:

  • Build marketing messaging and content that inspires customers/prospects and drives preference for HPE supercomputing solutions.
  • Be data driven in the definition of your marketing messaging, positioning, and content to drive the business.
  • Partner with product, marketing, alliances, and events teams to support industry leading moments (i.e. launch, events, etc.) for HPE HPC offerings.
  • Develop and/or manage the creation of a variety of content types as needed to fuel sales and marketing success, with a keen focus on effectiveness.
  • Partner with product management and competitive intelligence teams to build your HPC knowledge, especially in support of new product introductions.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to define and execute digital first programs, including social, to drive new growth for HPE.

About You:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications.
  • Experience in enterprise Product Marketing, product management, or related experience.
  • Proven track record of creating compelling marketing content across a variety of mediums, such as web, social, in-person engagements, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of buyer’s journey and the ability to map marketing content to support.
  • Experience working across multiple players in marketing, brand and sales teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience creating compelling messaging and content aligned to the buyer’s journey for organizations in the technology industry.
  • Capability to craft narratives that differentiate solutions and stand out from the ordinary.
  • Experience planning and executing multiple marketing programs and agency management.
  • Experience using marketing metrics and data to optimize content strategy, content performance and marketing effectiveness.
  • Experience adjusting content for the medium, including web, social, in-person presentations, etc.
  • Experience marketing enterprise infrastructure and solutions.
  • Ability to act as a product and technology advocate.
  • Knowledge of key high performance computing and server technologies.
  • Understanding of key market drivers for the enterprise in cloud computing and AI is a plus.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. Annual Salary: $86,000.00 - $198,000.00
