The role holder will be responsible for Team management of monitoring regulatory data and limit excesses
Core Responsibilities :
- Risk Monitoring Regulatory Reporting Compliance and Excess Reporting : Manages exposure data for limit monitoring. Monitors various risk MIS reports such as Intra and end of day NOOP, AGL, IGL within agreed timelines. Supervises regulatory reports such as RBS, LCR, LR, MAPSIR, CAPAD, SLS, Capital Charge for Market Risk, BLR3, BLR5, New DSB ALE reports etc.
- Audit & Compliance : Ensures comprehensive compliance with all internal regulatory and statutory requirements as relevant for various product and services and provision of data to concurrent and internal auditors.
Process Improvement & Automation :
- Engage in projects in the areas such as automation to mitigate operational risk and time reduction. Play an active role in new processes and systems roll out.
People Management or Self-Management Responsibilities :
- Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are monitored and achieved during the year.
- Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the reporting manager and working towards bridging the gaps through various means which go beyond just training.
- Understands the competencies relevant to his/her role and works towards displaying as well as developing these effectively.
Risk and Internal Control Responsibilities :
- Follows risk policy and processes to mitigate the operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational and audit risks as instructed by the departmental manager
- Executes the established internal control systems and compiles relevant information for departmental audits, as and when necessary
