We are looking for a Legal & Compliance Head to join our team. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our company follows all laws and regulations. You will also help us make smart business decisions while minimizing risks. You will provide legal advice, oversee compliance efforts, and contribute to our company's success.
Responsibilities:
Following the Law:
- Help us understand and follow all legal requirements that apply to our business.
- Make sure we meet rules set by SEBI, Companies Act, FEMA/RBI, and others.
Handling Business Deals:
- Manage mergers, joint ventures, and foreign collaborations.
- Assist with IPO processes and get approvals as needed.
Keeping Things Organized:
- Handle important paperwork and meetings, like board meetings and shareholder gatherings.
- Help us set up new companies and move offices if needed.
Dealing with Contracts:
- Write, check, and finalize contracts for us.
- Give advice on things like property deals and competition laws.
Dealing with Legal Issues:
- Manage any legal problems we face, like going to court or dealing with arbitrations.
- Help us come up with ways to avoid problems and stay out of legal trouble.
- At least 15 years of experience in legal and compliance roles.
- Good understanding of laws and regulations related to our business.
- Great communication skills and ability to work well with others.
Membership and Credentials:
- Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (#ICSI).
