Manager (CL-7) in the Global Delivery Network [GDN] for Statutory Compliance

Requirement:
- We are looking for a lawyer for a position of Manager (equivalent to a General Manager in industry parlance) in the Global Delivery Network [GDN] Legal Group
- Reporting will be to Associate Director [Legal]
Role Description:
This role is broad and could involve providing advice on various facets of legal and compliance areas.
Focus for the current position is as follows:
1. Define and evaluate standards of Accenture India’s current tool-based compliance tracking and initiate compliance and process enhancements in collaboration with internal stakeholders and compliance functions.
2. Conduct statutory compliance risk assessments and internal reviews on compliance status and developing risk management strategies. Organizing and overseeing operational audits to Identify compliance issues that require rectification and ensuring that the organization meets operational requirements.
3. Advising Accenture India leadership and business partners on the implementation of compliance programs. Ensuring incidents and compliance challenges are actioned appropriately. Collaborating with internal stake-holding functions to monitor enforcement of compliance requirements.
4. Build re-usable guidance, playbooks, FAQs for internal clients. Lead training workshops for compliance stakeholders and ensure standards for certification audits.
5. Regular/periodic gap analysis on new and updated controls and best practices in the industry. Monitor existing processes and identify opportunities to create processes as part of best practices to ensure standardization.
6. Expected to add to the knowledge base, contribute legal insights, perform independent legal research on emerging legislative changes, analyze impact of proposed legislative changes on Accenture’s business in India and redefine processes in response to legal dynamics.
7. Prepare executive summaries, position papers, build litigation strategies, legal updates on emerging legal trends affecting business and internal processes for India and Global leadership
