Role: Finance Controller, Inventory & Logistics

Location: Vadodara (Plant location)

Job Description:

• Play a key role in evaluating Inventory & Logistics performance and identify opportunities to improve the Profitability of the Company.
• Track the Budget targets and monitor the financial validation of actions on cost movement.
• Support and maintain systems used for financial reporting and make necessary upgrades as per requirement of the management.
• Support in closure of various Internal & External Audits related to Costing & Inventory (Statutory, Tax ITGC/IFC Controls, etc.) as per requirement.
• Implement standardization and automation of business processes, where applicable.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support in Monthly Reporting/Financial Closings as per the defined deadlines - IN bound Logistics Costs, Inventory Provisions, Rejections, Ageing, Segment wise inventory & logistic performance, obsolescence checking etc.
• Deliver ongoing tracking, reporting and assessment of the Functions performance - Financial, operational, strategic goals and initiatives.
• Provide financial reports, analysis, presentations for Finance & Functional leadership.
• Review / implement Control processes to minimize business risk to the Company - Coordinate Annual Physical Stock Count with Auditors & Operations/SCM Team
• Support and implement continuous improvement ideas and innovation to enhance the cost efficiency and effectiveness of process/tools.
• Support any urgent / unplanned request for special project / Business cases / Benchmarking etc.
• Foster open communication and cordial relationship with functional teams

Skills/Qualifications:

• CA/ CMA/ MBA
• 7+ Years of relevant Accounting/Finance experience in manufacturing set-up is a must.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to meet tight, multiple deadlines and handle various projects and tasks.
• Strong systems and data management skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel and PowerPoint.
• SAP experience
