Job Description


The Analyst, Card Program Administration has the responsibility of supporting the global corporate card and purchasing card program at Visa. The role will be based in Bangalore and will have a focus on card programs based in the Asia Pacific region, with growth into other regional markets. The role will manage day-to-day functions related to the card programs, including supporting the issuance and maintenance of Visa’s corporate card and purchasing card programs, working directly with issuing banks, and providing superior customer service to the end users while enforcing cardholder compliance with the Global Travel and Expense Policies.

The role requires the ability to work in a complex and diverse, international, and multi-currency environment. Key tasks include:

  • Manage the corporate and purchasing card program for APAC based employees including: issuance, renewal, modification, cancellation, monthly issuer statement reconciliation, monitoring of outstanding expenses, and card holder support (credit limit increases, policy interpretation, exception transaction processing, etc.)
  • Manage regional email inbox to track employee inquiries related to Corporate Card and Purchasing card activities.
  • Act as main point of contact for issuing banks, being point to trouble shoot issues or execute changes to card program.
  • Provide support for Visa’s T&E system, including resolution of technical inquiries, performing testing for system changes and enhancements.
  • Interact with cardholders and other finance groups, including Global Sourcing, Accounts Payable, Data Maintenance, IT, HR, Compliance, product teams and global card administrators, to support questions related to corporate and purchasing card transactions.
  • Provide knowledge of Visa policies and procedures, supporting cardholders and general employee questions based on Travel and Entertainment related items or Purchasing Card related items, including leading training sessions on general T&E Policy and Concur functionality.
  • Participate in global card program meetings to provide and implement process improvements.
  • Support global T&E audit process by researching expense report items that are flagged for review, including follow-up with employees and their managers to assess validity of the transaction.
  • Review weekly employee aging report, including collections from employees and posting reimbursement payments.
  • Support regional tasks associated with mergers and acquisitions, including integration into Concur, issuing new cards, and providing training support.

Qualifications
  • 2 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 3 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Background in Finance, Audit, Risk or Compliance with focus on operational controls
  • Experience of finance systems use – Oracle and Concur, desired but not a must
  • Excellent analytical ability, problem solving skills
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly motivated, confident and organized individual
  • Excellent time management skills, sense of urgency, able to prioritize
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization and communicate effectively

Additional Information


Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
