Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Bag Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for fashion and accessories, along with a keen eye for detail and a knack for staying ahead of design trends. The Bag Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative bag designs that align with our brand identity and resonate with our target market.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the design team to develop seasonal concepts, themes, and colour palettes.
Research current fashion trends, materials, and techniques to unique design.
Create sketches, renderings, and. technical drawings of bag concepts using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Develop prototypes and samples to test design concepts and make necessary adjustments.
Work closely with product development, sourcing, and production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and meet quality standards.
Stay updated on industry developments, competitor products, and market trends to maintain a competitive edge.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop product specifications, packaging, and promotional materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
Proven experience (1 to 2 years) working as a bag designer in the fashion industry.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and CAD software.
Excellent understanding of colour theory, patternmaking, and textile design.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of bag construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
The ideal candidate should have 1 to 2 years of experience.
Salary should be 20,000 to 25,000
