Position Overview:

Boeing India Indirect Supply Chain (ISC) is currently looking for Experienced Procurement Agent to join their team in Bangalore, India. This team seeks a highly-skilled Supply Chain professional and motivated individual.

This is an individual contributor position in a growing global organization. The individual will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to expand Indirect Supply Chain delivery model while ensuring service delivery excellence to all business partners.

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. He or she must be flexible to accommodate business requirements that span multiple time zones and may require travel, having international experience working with diverse groups and cultures will be an added advantage. The ability to multi task & deliver within timelines is essential. Ideal candidate must possess 12+ years of experience into Supply Chain and Indirect Procurement working with geographically diverse stakeholders with core experience working with Manufacturing and Services industry.

Position Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Demonstrate fundamental contract and relationship management skills, with proven experience at all phases of the procurement cycle for projects and commodities at all project phases.

• Lead the negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions with full competency

• Prepare, develop and execute negotiation strategies that result in year-over-year cost savings to Boeing, contractual documents and binding agreements

• Lead cross functional teams to resolve supplier performance issues and support the development of strategic supplier solutions.

• Lead supply chain process improvement teams to identify improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies

• Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies

• Works with internal customers to formalize and implement procurement requirements via creative and effective contracting approaches

• Leads proposal analyses and develop negotiation strategies.

• Manage Procure to Pay Cycle

• Ensures contract compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Manages contract terminations (i.e. transitions, wind down, etc.).

• Leads or participates in proposal analysis to fulfil customer and program strategic requirements.

• Leads suppliers and stakeholders in the development of risk, issue and opportunities management plans.

• Participate to cross functional teams to deploy improved processes, systems and tools.

• Leads project reviews.

• Provides market and peer benchmarking insight and actionable data to integrate into current and future contracting and supply base strategies.

• Manages, monitor and analyse supplier performance.

• Provides direction to suppliers to improve performance and ensure contractual requirements are met. Manages import and export regulatory requirements.

• Manage issues including escalation and early identification of risks.

• Track and mitigate different risk related to supplier and business.

• Participate in Audits as required. Comply with Boeing Process, Policies as relevant to the role and enforce compliance, procedure wherever necessary.

• Innovation management - Support the ISC leadership with strategy. Contribute to continuous process improvement including action as a SME for a selected process and mentoring other team members.

• Note that our procurement team is spread across the world, which may require supporting virtual meetings outside normal work hours. There may be requirements to support other activities across the globe.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or certifications in business, business management, international business & procurement are desirable

• Experience conducting business in an international environment is desirable

• Experience with Global Supply Chain Organization is strongly desired

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+ 8 years' related work experience.

This position does offer relocation within INDIA.
