Engineer- VE :: BOM Management/ PLM Management

1. Responsible for ensuring DFA for electromechanical parts from concept till Mass production parts
2. Ensuring the BOM and Assy related documentation in PLM
3. Basic Knowledge of Plastics and sheet metal part manufacturing
4. Basic knowledge of electrical system functioning
5. Sound knowledge of Catia V5 and PLM TC

Design for Assembly

Good understanding of Two wheeler electrical component packaging

Understanding of diagnostic tools for reading fault codes on CAN/LIN

Development of Parts

BOM Control, Support for Vehicle Events, cost and weight reduction ideas

Problem solving and Implementation of Corrective measures

Trouble shooting and analysis of system level defects.

Analyse data and generate reports and make design changes for problems observed.

Preparing Design Records and Testing Data

Testing and validation support and test case definition at System level and vehicle testing

B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics with 4-6 years of experience

Expertise in using Catia V5 and Vehicle Packaging
Understanding of DFA for two wheeler parts
Understanding of CAN tools
Understanding of EV components and Architecture
Understanding of Vehicle assembly parameter’s
Knowledge of Communication Protocols I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN
Understanding of PLM TC 11
