Job Title: Engineer, Production Operations
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (India)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - a minimum of three days in office per week
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities-
Offshore operation’s is sought to be the first point of contact for any concerns reported on
Publishing/Digital application. Therefore On a day-to- day basis, this role will be responsible for
providing 24/7 Monitoring company applications along with user access management and vendor
engagement. The candidate to bring to the organisation a wealth of knowledge across multiple
Monitoring tools and have good working knowledge in ITIL practices. As part of the offshore
operations team, the candidate is expected to have a good understanding and hands-on-experience
on leading Infrastructure technologies.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 2 years to 4 years of experience on Application support.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
- Good knowledge and hands on experience on Linux, shell scripting.
- Good Knowledge on Application management/support.
- Zabbix or any relevant experience on any of the Application/server monitoring tools and
Zabbix or any relevant experience on any of the Application/server monitoring tools.
- Basic understanding of Networking, TCP/IP Protocols
- Remedy-On-Demand, ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing tool.
- Good Knowledge on Application management/support.
- Willing to work on 24*7 rotational shifts.
- Strong Team Player, excellent communication skills, self motivated, flexible.
- ITIL knowledge or certification is preferred.
- Knowledge on AWS fundamentals is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge on Python, PHP and any databases(SQL/NoSQL)
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt latest softwares in the project procured.
