ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
v Responsible for Plant & township Security, Watch & Warding, Vigilance, movement controlling.
v Responsible for the physical security, protection services and privacy of the plant and its
employees.
v Planning & managing security staff and their deployment
v Liasioning with police, government agencies, local administration.
v Contract security controlling, on site and off site planning.
v Overseeing the investigation of security breaches and security-related incidents, and assisting
with the disciplinary and legal matters that arise from those incidents;
v Carry out risk assessments and make recommendations to senior management, assessing level
of risk in terms of wider issues.
v Reporting of incidents and ensure that reports are analyzed in terms of trends emerging.
v Day to day departmental activities like gate pass authorization, complaint, checking of statutory
documentation etc
v Receive and deal with any information that has a security dimension and deal with this in a
Confidential manner.
v In addition to protecting the company's physical assets, he has to work closely with risk
management and safety departments as well, to ensure that employees are safe and secure
while working.
v Factory cars & incoming or outgoing Vehicle management
PREFERRED SKILLS
Need perceptive, and able to make decisions quickly and confidently. A strong understanding of law
enforcement and legal issues and guidelines surrounding corporate security is also a requirement. have
training in human resources to provide background in handling employee-related security issues.
Communication and problem solving skills, and an understanding of finance, accounting and
management principles is for managing a security department.
