Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act and other applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain statutory registers and records, including minutes of board meetings, annual general meetings, and other corporate documents.
- Provide advice to the board of directors on corporate governance matters.
- Draft and review legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, such as the RBI, SEBI, and ROC.
- Coordinate and manage board meetings and general meetings.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of statutory returns and forms.
- Handle any other legal and compliance-related matters as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Company Secretary (ACS) with over 10+ years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
- Experience in the financial services sector, particularly in NBFCs, would be an advantage.
