Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to understand software delivery requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient and robust CI/CD pipelines for our applications.
- Automate the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of development, testing, and production environments.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security, and proactively address issues.
- Work with cloud-based infrastructure AWS and ensure best practices for scalability and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security measures for applications and infrastructure.
- Manage version control systems and code repositories.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues.
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing for the DevOps team.
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation to optimize software delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles within a software development environment.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
- Strong Experience in AWS and related tools (EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, ElasticBeanstalk, Cloudwatch, etc.)
- Experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience in managing other cloud-based infrastructure (Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and log management solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and data storage concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
