Job Description: As the Engineering Design Manager for Pressure Control Valves and Safety Relief Valves, you will play a key role in leading our product design and development initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering design process, ensuring the creation of superior and innovative valve solutions that meet the highest industry standards. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing and leading a team of skilled engineers in the design and development of pressure control valves and safety relief valves.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
- Utilizing your expertise to develop and improve design concepts, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and consistency of products.
- Conducting feasibility studies, prototyping, and testing to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Applying innovative design techniques and leveraging the latest technologies to drive continuous improvement and enhance product performance.
- Providing technical support and guidance to internal teams, customers, and external partners, resolving design-related issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills: To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Extensive experience ( 15+ years) in engineering design and development, specifically in pressure control valves and safety relief valves.
- Strong knowledge of valve design principles, fluid dynamics, materials selection, and relevant industry standards (such as ASME, API).
- Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools for design and analysis.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
