SCOPE
To Manage inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels. Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures. Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure a high focus on HSEQ in line with Normet HSEQ Standards
- Managing the inventory w.r.t. to the Spare Parts, Components, Rebuild Component, Service Centre Inventory and new business including Aliva & Breaker Booms
- Creating/ Placing Purchase Order for the above items to GDC or respective entity.
- Coordination with different stakeholders including GDC, warehouse (Bijainagar & Jaipur), including Aliva-Switzerland for different jobs like, Parts activation, resolving D365 issues, warranty and other claims.
- Tracking all kind of shipment including but not limited to import shipment, local shipment and supporting in customs queries.
- Managing all resources in the site to ensure an optimum balance between a high level of customer service satisfaction, and attainment of financial objectives.
- Monitoring India inventory including NWC and other parameters.
- Analysing Inventory aging and planning actions.

Accuracy of Available Inventory
Knowing what’s on hand in the warehouse without having to bring production & Sales to a halt for a physical inventory count. High inventory accuracy makes it easier to manage inventory turnover and yields more useful insights for forecasting demand, more accurate financial reporting, and more strategically useful financial planning
Accuracy of Forecasted Demand
Knowing what one need including knowing what’s in stock. Tightening up this metric will allow to run a leaner warehouse.
Clear idea of what one needed, one won’t over or under order. This will reduces inventory carrying costs and back orders while still allowing one to take advantage of growth opportunities when demand is high.

Higher Inventory Turnover
To be calculated by dividing the cost of goods sold (COGS) by the average inventory in a given time period. Generally the higher inventory turnover is, the more efficient and profitable a company will be.
Shorter Order Cycle Time
Inventory Cycle Time, this metric measures the amount of time between an order being placed and the moment it ships or arrives at the customer’s door, depending on the scope. The shorter the cycle, the more orders one can process, the higher order fill rate and productivity, and the faster internal customers can get what they need.
Lesser Dead Stock
Write-offs, dead stock are product that isn’t selling and is draining resources instead of earning profits. It might be damaged, expired, obsolete, or completely destroyed. Dead stock needs to be removed as quickly as possible to keep labour and storage costs low. Less the Dead stock, more the accuracy
Balanced Inventory Carrying Costs
With this metric, one can determine how much of your working capital is currently sitting on the shelves as inventory instead of funding innovation, product development, or expansion. The carrying cost of inventory isn’t a single value, but rather a combination of several inventory metrics, including:

- An in depth understanding of customer business processes (internal & External);

- An understanding of the Automobile Industry;
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Engineering
- Diploma/Certificate in Project Management will be of added advantages
- Diploma/Certificate in Basic Financial Principles will be of added advantages
- 5 Years Planning experience
- Microsoft Excel/Spread sheet (advanced)
- English proficiency
