Data Science Cluster Lead
India
About the role
1. Act as Data Science SME/Lead for global project teams, with oversight for key outputs and deliverables. Provides technical and analytical expertise on assigned preclinical and clinical projects.
2. Attract, recruit, and develop new Data Science talent for the TM India organization.
3. Maintain and grow the group by acting as a talent ambassador for TM across Novartis India, local universities, and professional networks.
4. Partner with global project team leaders to allocate resources to meet or exceed TM portfolio needs and objectives.
5. Ensure strong connectivity and proactive communication between local team members and project stakeholders.
6. Maintain excellent awareness of a dynamic TM portfolio, priorities, and Data Science initiatives.
7. Advocate for local infrastructure needs and support timely issue resolution within the team.
8. Ensure 100% compliance for Associate training, quality, and Good Clinical Practice standards, as appropriate.

1. 5+ years of management and leadership experience leading scientific analytical teams.
2. Leading, prioritizing resources, and developing talent across a multidisciplinary team.
3. Outstanding communication and self-awareness.
4. Excellent organizational skills and agility managing multiple priorities.
5. Strong mentorship and interpersonal skills to support Associate engagement, development, and retention.
6. Prior experience building partnerships and alliances with external talent pools.
7. Demonstrated ability to establishing effective collaborative relationships with cross-functional scientific teams.
