• Clear thinking, excellent writing, and good presentation skills mandatory
• Knowledge of Power System Models (commercial/ open source/ bespoke) will be preferred
• Consulting Industry (Mercados/ Big 4/ IDAM/ Feedback/ ICF/ CES/ Energy Exemplar) experience is preferred.
• Industry candidates with Market Analysis, Strategy, M&A or Risk Management experience will be preferred.
• Think Tank Experience (Prayas/ BTI/ CSEP/ CPI/ CPR/ CEEW) with high quality publications/ impactful research and referrals would also be considered

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Post-Graduate degree in Economics or Mathematics or Statistics or Operations Research from reputed institutions
• Graduate/ Post graduate degree from vintage IITs/NITs, ISI, Reputed Colleges and Universities will be preferred
• PhD Candidates with relevant research experience (Power Market Modelling/ other statistical or empirical research related to power markets) will also be considered
• Candidates clearing UPSC CSE Mains with electrical engineering background are encouraged to apply
