Role And Responsibilities
The Cluster Supply Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a consistent supply of fleet/vehicles on a daily basis
- Drive key supply metrics such as Order to Fill
- Collaborate with the Head Office to improve operational processes
- Identify and onboard fleet owners/vendors with small/medium/large size vendors
- Ensure positive operating margin (OP)
- Coordinate with the Head Office to enhance the experience of freight promoters and fleet owners/truckers on the platform
- Drive acquisition and retention of freight promoters and fleet owners/truckers
- Ensure compliance with business guidelines to minimize/mitigate/eliminate risks
- Understand the transport and supply mandis of the cluster and develop strategies to onboard vendors
- Onboard strategic vendors for containers/open body/trailers
- Experience with digital freight aggregation platforms will be preferred
- Willingness to travel is required
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Post-Graduate/MBA with 5-7 years of business experience in sales
- Good understanding of the freight market and relationships between truckers, shippers, and brokers
- Experience with an existing digital freight aggregation platform is preferred
