Area Manager Last mile Manager play a key role in helping Warehouse Managers deliver best-in-class customer service. A critical accountability of the role is driving execution: they are responsible for operationalizing strategy to meet customer service requirements. They have Area P&L and Area operational responsibility for warehouse operations and serve as the SME for warehouses.
- Develops appropriate Last mile Supply Chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.
- Leads the Supply Chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Directs and coordinates global Supply Chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
- Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to the manpower and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
- Works with warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up profitable working model
- Works directly with Customer success department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for goods transportation to customers.
- Monitors and corrects inventory levels at warehouses to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
- Collaborates with procurement department to determine best practice for freight in and freight consolidation.
- Supports proper utilization of resources
- Member of the operations staff, responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.

An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has-
- Graduate / Post Graduate degree in any discipline
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Effective organizational skills, team management skills & interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi, English and regional language is a must
- Demonstrated exceptional people management and leadership capabilities.
