Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements, guidelines, and directives issued by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) .
- Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives, considering regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Oversee the creation, revision, and implementation of compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with evolving regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and finalize regulatory returns on a periodic basis.
- Draft and review various policies, ensuring Board/Audit/Internal approval as required.
- Assist in RBI inspections, including obtaining data from various business units.
- Meet compliance requirements as per RBI, and draft, review, and monitor RBI escalated complaints and Ombudsman matters.
- Review and provide advice on outsourcing guidelines, vendor agreements, etc.
- Conduct compliance audits, engaging continuously with various business and support functions to review various processes and policies.
Key Skills Required :
- Qualified Company Secretary with a strong understanding of current regulations affecting NBFC.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, focusing on NBFC or Fintech.
- Knowledge of audits and statutory compliances, with a strong understanding of current regulations affecting NBFC companies.
- Good knowledge of RBI, Companies Act, and other Corporate Laws.
