The Global Planning Transformation team at Cisco is always looking for ways to enhance the planning process. One of our key work products is the Sales Planning forecast, which integrates customer and sales inputs and supplements the BU-driven demand signals with a goal to improve the accuracy of Global Planning metrics.
As a "Business Architect- Sales Planning" with the Global Planning team, you will work with stakeholders within the Sales Planning organization in Global Planning, across Supply Chain, and other organizations in Cisco to align strategic goals and transformation programs with the architectural changes required to deliver the business strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing solutions that enable business outcomes for Sales Planning organization and comply with the Systems Architecture guidelines
Developing business process flows, business requirements documentation, and user stories to enable capabilities
Building and aligning capability roadmaps and defining interdependencies
Building models by pulling data from multiple sources and to show conceptual views of a solution in excel and Tableau
Performing detailed analysis to validate business cases.
Driving change management for alignment and adoption within and across services for solutions
Enable new Techniques & tools to improve forecast accuracy of the Sales Planning streams
Facilitating meetings to drive transformation alignment across diverse user groups
Who You’ll Work With

As a Business Architect, you will closely work with Sales Planning team, product owners, data engineers, program management and IT teams.
Who You Are
- Have a master’s degree in business management, Supply Chain, Finance, Math, Information Systems, or related fields
- 10+ years of business experience in two or more of the following disciplines (Product management, Program Management, Demand Planning, S&OP, Integrated Business Planning, and/or Financial Planning & Analysis)
- 3+ years of experience leading Large Scale Cross Functional Programs & driving key initiatives
- Excel at communication & collaborating with different teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to business transformation and effectively bridge the gap between business leaders and technology experts by translating complex concepts into understandable terms
- Have hands on experience developing and delivering strategy, process design, business capabilities, enabling technologies and enabling governance models
- Able to act as liaison conveying strategy, business requirements, and information needs of the business to IT teams and cross functional stakeholders
- Adaptable, creative and have a problem-solving approach when it comes to innovate new business processes or modernize existing ones
- Can break complex solutions into executable tasks & drive for completion
- Advance proficiency in MS Excel, or similar spreadsheet platforms preferred
- Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities
- The ability to assimilate and correlate abstract concepts, disconnected programs, and changes in the business environment to articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues
