Responsibilities

This position would include the mentioned set of responsibilities but not limited to:
- Complete Ownership of the Procurement Function.
- Responsible for procurement of non IT services & IT services
- Handle RFQ/RFP process, Tendering processs , negotiations, Supplier selections, Sourcing Strategies, Supplier Due diligence and seek approval from business.
- Preferred experience/ knowledge in Procurement ERP Oracle ( Fusion Platform ) and e-Auction platform.
- Regular coordination with internal stakeholders
- Responsible for tracking adherence/compliance to internal guidelines as well as other applicable guidelines like CVC, Perform requisite reporting for same to internal and external agencies.
- Liaison, Manage and influence with internal stakeholders as needed to manage the day to day operations.
- Knowledge on Contract management is preferred to coordinate with relevant stakeholders, Legal & compliance team
- Knowledge of Vendor Management is preferred. Manage and develop the existing potential supplier pool.
- Support updating of all purchasing-related SOPs.
- Revisit the procurement organization structure & Policies on regular basis to maintain the operational efficiency.
- Provide timely, candid and constructive performance feedback on direct reportees.
Job specific skills
Applicants should possess the following attributes:
- Team Handling & Interpersonal skill
- Prior experience as procurement lead , preferably in a public sector enterprise / financial service captive.
- Exposure to end to end procurement operations. Experience in evaluating and implementation solutions / platforms in prior organizations to automate the operations will be plus.
- Exposure to public procurement with keen understanding of applicable guidelines like CVC etc. will be plus.
- Experience to e-tendering / procurement portals for public procurement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, strong work ethics and ability to empathize with the stakeholders
Educational Qualifications
- Graduate / Post Graduate / Professional Degree.
