Job Role
The Associate Vice President, Content Services, Design Studio role is part of Group Enablement Services at Standard Chartered GBS.
The individual will be responsible for operationalising and scaling Content Services within one of the Centre of Excellence, Design Studio.
The role will involve growing the scale and driving capability uplift to deliver consistent content solutions across the bank.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Content Lead to join us at the post of an AVP.
The ideal candidate will lead a talented team of content creators in developing engaging and impactful content for internal and external communication purposes.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of content creation, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the content strategy aligned with organisational goals and values.
- Define the catalogue of services for content spanning from pitchbooks, RFP support to the sales team, building consistent client collaterals, internal communication support, marketing and branding, etc.
- Build a high performing team with skills in content management, content writing (including copy), content migration and management support.
- Work closely with various departments within the bank to understand their communication needs and ensure content aligns with organisation values and tone of voice.
- Engage in business development initiatives to ensure a sustainable delivery model is established for the business.
- Oversee the creation of various content types, including written, visual, and multimedia materials. Ensure content meets high standards of accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Effectively manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities within the content team.
- Utilise analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of content and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Identify training needs within the team and provide guidance for skill enhancement.
- Bring in industry best practices and continuously improve ways of working.
- Outstanding conceptual skills, stakeholder orientation, mental agility, and outcome driven.

- Set and implement the vision, strategy, direction and leadership for the business teams, consistent with the vision and strategy of the Global business functions and in support of the Bank’s strategic direction and growth aspirations.

Our Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a content creation team.
- Strong understanding of content strategy, messaging, and internal communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools / content creation software.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to proactively identify opportunities and drive results.
- Experience of working in a cross functional remote global team.
