The Markets and Securities Services (MSS) AI and Data Science team works with the Front Office to identify opportunities where advanced analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence can provide solutions to business problems. The team drives the projects end-to-end, doing data exploration, model development, through to application integration.

Opportunity

• The role is to help deliver AI/ML/Data Science projects and applications developed by the AI and Data Science team to production. This will involve deployment on bespoke MSS IT infrastructure (Digital Hosting Platform), the Stratpy platform, public cloud (GCP/Azure) or any combination of these.
• This may involve any step in the MLOps lifecycle, such as data integration, model training/evaluation/monitoring pipelines, robust model serving, etc..
• The role will work closely with the MSS Data Science team to bring their projects to production, as well as the StratPy team to determine how to leverage or build out the StratPy platform as appropriate.

What you’ll do:

The duties will include:

• Deploy / productionise MSS Data Science team’s projects
• Build any services required to streamline Data Science team’s workflow
• Build MLOps features in Stratpy when appropriate
• Working with business to create new applications and extending platform functionality where necessary
• Managing the delivery of multiple complex simultaneous development projects from design through to release
• Understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code
• Produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery
• Provide effective governance to report progress and timely escalation of risks and issues
• Ensure awareness, involvement and support from the key stakeholders and participants to maintain robust communication on the project status throughout its life cycle
• Responsibility for ensuring that risks and issues are identified and managed closely to deliver on time and to the required quality standards whilst adhering to the SDLC
• Run post implementation reviews helping to demonstrate success or otherwise of deliveries
