What you will be doing
This position is with Retirement Engineering group with following responsibilities:
- Interpret functional specifications and translating them into test requirements and test plans.
- Manual testing of new features.
- Identifying, logging, tracking and resolution of software bugs.
- Conforming to QA processes, work instructions and standards.
- Provide support, training and assistance to others including peer reviews.
- Provide prompt escalation of functional, technical and project issues to Management.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in all that we do.
- Makes recommendations and directs improvements to the software development lifecycle process.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team building, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills
- Perform Automation Testing in addition to Functional Testing, so testing automation knowhow is MUST.
What you bring:
Skillset:
- Automation Testing Experience in Selenium, Cucumber, Appium with Java
- Understand and solution complex automation issues, requires out of box thinking.
- Professional experience of web software testing
- Knowledgeable in software Quality Assurance practices.
- An understanding of integration, regression, and acceptance testing methodologies
- Knowledge in web applications, including understanding the underlying architectures.
- Experience with writing SQL queries
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong desire to break software in creative but controlled manner.
- Detail and Team oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables.
- Ability to be flexible as new projects are assigned.
- Working knowledge of web technologies (i.e., CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, REST service, etc.)
Domain Experience (Good to have):
- US Retirement - Defined Benefits, Defined Contributions, 401K, Pension plans, Withdrawals, Loans, Distributions.
- Various Forms - Form 5500, Form 5300, Form 1099R, 1099-DIV, etc.
- Taxation – Withholding Federal, State.
- Processes – Contributions, Investment Elections, Fund Transfers, etc.

- Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
- Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation.
