Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Robot Framework that is compatible with multiple browsers and operating systems.
- Identify performance bottlenecks in applications and recommend solutions
- Conduct performance testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
- Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for improvement
- Perform testing on different platforms and devices to ensure compatibility
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and tools using Robot Framework
- Identify and report software defects and track them to resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software products are of high quality
- Work with developers to ensure that code changes are testable, and that testing is integrated into the software development life cycle
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
- Participate in code reviews to ensure that the code is testable and meets the quality standards
- Mentor and train junior automation testers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in automation testing with a strong background in software development life cycle and automation frameworks.
- Atleast 2-4 years on Robot framework is must
- Strong experience with Test Automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, and Protractor
- Strong Knowledge of performance testing and tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
- Experience with programming languages such as Python.
- Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience in working with API testing
- Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
