Job Description

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have experience defining test strategies, creating test plans and test cases, and implementing Test Automation frameworks. Additionally, candidates should be knowledgeable about DevSecOps practices and be proficient in behavioral-driven development practices.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the engineering team to define test strategies, create test plans, and develop test cases for UI and API testing.
• Implement and maintain Test Automation frameworks, focusing on behavioral-driven development practices.
• Conduct UI and API testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of software applications.
• Work closely with the development team to integrate Test Automation into the CI/CD pipeline and drive quality best practices.
• Embrace a whole-team approach by actively participating in team discussions, code reviews, and collaborative decision-making.
• Define and implement Test Automation for microservices architecture, SQL and NoSQL database technologies, and AWS services in cloud environments.
• Utilize DevSecOps practices to integrate security measures into the testing process and ensure the security of software applications.
• Continuously monitor and analyze test results, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to the testing process.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on Test Automation best practices and techniques.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer with expertise in UI and API testing.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, SQL and NoSQL database technologies, AWS services, and cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Test Automation frameworks such as Cucumber or Selenium.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into the testing process.
• Experience defining test strategies, creating test plans, and developing test cases.
• Knowledge of behavioral-driven development practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile scrum team and drive quality best practices.
