Job Role : Junior Engineer - Embedded Hardware
Responsibilities:
- Design wiring and harness for UAV products.
- Create electrical schematics and drawings using design tools.
- Select appropriate connectors, wires, and components.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate wiring and harness systems into the aircraft.
- Conduct feasibility studies for system integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of wiring and harness designs.
- Develop test plans and procedures for wiring and harness systems.
- Perform testing to validate system performance and safety.
- Analyze test results and make necessary design improvements.
- Seek cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and safety.
- Seek opportunities for innovation and optimization in wiring and harness design.
- Provide input for product improvement based on lessons learned.
- Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other teams.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues and system malfunctions.
- Provide technical support for production.
- Address environmental concerns, such as electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Implement measures to protect wiring and harness systems from environmental factors.
Qualification & Experience: B.E/ B. Tech / Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics / Aerospace Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace, automotive or similar domain.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Zuken E3 and Solidworks Electrical is desired
- Hands on experience in creating design of complex harness assemblies
- Experience in cold checks such as isolation, insulation, continuity.
- Experience in cable loom, assemblies, cable crimping etc.
- Experience in onboard electronics components anchoring and leaching into flight section.
- Experience in operation of DSO, data logger, DC-Power supplies, Load bank, ground electrical test setup.
- Experience of Soldering such as wire to wire, wire to board, wire to connectors etc. as per IPC standards
- Able to work independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to take ownership.
