About you and this role
We are looking for a Supply cost accountant. You will ensure accounting activity recorded within the Company's records and books are accurate and complete. You will also assist the function/business management teams in financial analysis necessary for decision-making using in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in accounting and basic knowledge of related finance disciplines. This role will report to cost accounting manager
Responsibilities
- Supply cost accountant and Cost center expenses analysis
- Cost center Budgeting and Cost allocations & recharges
- Product cost estimation and Period closing activities-USGAAP and Local GAAP
- Act as a copilot with the functional stakeholders
- Inventory management & valuation and Internal control & compliance
- Supporting internal & External audit
Qualifications
- Qualified cost accountant/chartered accountant(CMA/CA) with 3-5 years relevant experience or MBA/MCOM with 7 years relevant experience.
Preferred Skills
- Highly motivated with strong business interest and desire to act as a business partner
- Team player with proactive communication style
- Strong analytical and process improvement skills
- Strong skills in SAP, Excel and Dow reporting tools
