Job Summary:
We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in Statutory Audit to join our reputed CA firm, as an Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Statutory Audit procedures, be well-versed in Indian Accounting Standards and Company Law, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Statutory Audits of financial statements, including reviewing financial records, identifying discrepancies, and preparing audit reports
- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards, Company Law, and other relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct internal audits and provide recommendations for improving internal controls and risk management processes
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
- Manage and mentor junior team members and provide guidance on audit procedures and techniques
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends related to Statutory Audit
Requirements:
- CA qualification with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in Statutory Audit
- Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, Company Law, and other relevant laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
