About the team
Accounts Receivable is a team of mixed qualification finance professionals, supporting the business with all their accounting & compliance needs. We need to ensure that all the financial transactions entered by the company are accounted for completely & accurately. We also ensure 100% compliance to laid down accounting standards, IFRS, SOX, ICFR and other statutory compliances. We also don the hat of business partner wherein we provide our suggestions, inputs for implementing new business proposals, offers, schemes, etc.
Job Description:
- As a Controllership Manager, role involves leading a team of accounting professionals for efficient and accurate handling of revenue, invoicing, collections and receivable accounting with complete control over reporting of financial and non-financial metrics within SOX compliance framework.
- Responsible for timely closure of books for the month end with a comprehensive approach for accuracy & completeness of the financials
- Ensuring accuracy of numbers with respect to accounting and analysis
- Handling Internal audit, statutory audit, SOX audit and ICOFR compliance, etc.
- Handling and overviewing team of people and guiding them in case of issues/challenges.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the team members with regular feedback, and conducting performance evaluations for the team
- Working closely with Biz, tech and product teams to enable new streams and impact analysis of same
- Strong follow ups with stakeholders for the effective closure of open points/issues.
- Identifying and highlighting tech glitches on time to concerned teams and track for timely closure.
- Strengthening the BS review process with more emphasis on aged balances
- Collaboration with business and biz fin teams to ensure smooth flow of operations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the function to enhance efficiency and accuracy using RPA and other tech enablers
- Should be able to work with large volume of data and in evolving environment.
What you’ll need:
- CA / MBA 4+ yrs of work experience
- Experience of managing teams and delivering high-quality results on time.
- Good to have experience in Power BI, oracle, SQL, Qlikview, Alteryx etc
- The knowledge of applicable taxes & GST compliances on revenue & receivable
- Deep understanding of accounting, finance, and business
- Capable of handling multiple projects at a time
- Exceptional communicator and Lucid thinker
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience in Ecommerce/FMCG is an added benefit.
