Job Purpose
The incumbent will be responsible for boiler farm management. The incumbent will play pivotal role in investing, analyzing and troubleshooting of disease diagnosis & outbreak in breeder & CBF.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Knowledge about commercial broiler farming as well as breeder & hatchery
- Technical services for broiler breeder, hatchery & commercial broiler farming in South as well as west complex.
- Should be able to collect, test and analyse samples like serum, tissue samples, swab samples feed samples etc.
- Should have knowledge about collection, preservation and dispatch of various samples
- Knowledge about bacterial isolations, ELISA techniques, mycotoxin analysis, HA/HI, PCR analysis etc.
- Should be able to conduct on field trials and compilation of data with analysis.
- Need to monitor hygiene audits of breeder, hatchery and feed mills.
- Need to handle lab teams and good communications with cross functional teams.
- Responsible for submission of weekly/monthly reports of bird's health status
- Preparation of health-related MIS for CBF and breeders.
Educational Qualification:
M.V.Sc. (Veterinary Microbiology/Pathology)
Experience:
Poultry health and field experience minimum 5 years.
