Responsibilities
• Handle employee questions and concerns• Monitor employees to ensure performance expectations are met• Supervise daily shift operations• Ensure employees have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms• Communicate issues regarding food quality and service• Ensure compliance with restaurant policies and procedures• Monitor alcohol beverage service• Manage to achieve or exceed budget goals• Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product and service• Supervise staffing levels• Encourage employees to provide excellent customer service• Handle guest problems and complaints• Supervise ongoing training initiatives• Communicate performance expectations• Coach and counsel employees• Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates• Assist servers and hosts during high demand times• Recognize good quality products and presentations• Supervise daily shift operations in absence of Restaurant Manager
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED• 4 years experience in Food and Beverage, culinary, or related area• OR 2-year degree in Food Service Management or related major• 2 years experience in Food and Beverage, culinary, or related area
