Business Partner (Online, Offline & Exclusive) – Xiaomi India
Roles & responsibilities
- Spearhead with Business Team in defining new & existing policies, SOPs, and or setting up new business model as & when required.
- Managing the existing business model for Sales Channel (Online, Offline & Exclusive)
- Be a decision maker on various aspects when it comes on Business Expansion & support.
- Manage activities with business team according to financial plan to achieve profitability and revenue growth.
- Assist in the preparation of yearly, quarterly & monthly budgets for the business units.
- Provide financial support and advice to management in closing business deals.
- Coordinate with operations, sales, marketing, and legal teams to supervise and support in business operations effectively.
- Prepare & Manage the Channel P&L.
- Review & Suggest Distributor Partners to improve their ROI for Distributor & Exclusive Retail Channel.
- Support process improvement initiatives to achieve financial goals.
- Managing Budget for the business unit on Marketing Spent and Preparation of Effective ROI of the spent.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve key finance KPI’s
- Assisting in Internal / External Process & Finance Audits
- Regular review of the partner claims and settlement
- Business hygiene and assessment
- Timely closure of open items with partners, receivable management
- Coordination with different stakeholders internal & external team to resolve the issue
- Decision maker in conjunction with the HO and other stakeholders
- Regular & frequent travelling to Partner office and market
- Participate in Month end book closure activities
- Review Partner ROI & Sampling Audit
- Managing Partner queries (pertaining to claims settlement, dues, scheme etc.) at his/her region.
Qualifications:
- B.COM / M.COM with 5 to 8 years of experience (preferably from Mobile / Retail Industry)
- CA with 2 to 4 years of experience (Preferably Business Finance Role)

- Should be able to meet stringent deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and should be able to mentor/ coach team.
- Should be a person with Go –getter attitude and able to deliver results with minimum supervision.
- Expect high level of integrity and ownership at work and able to demonstrate excellence in performance.
- Should have an eye for detail and drive cost savings efforts.
- Expert knowledge of SAP & MS – Office (No Compromise in Excel).
- Should be comfortable in Travelling across India for meeting Partners and Distributors.
- Should be able to handle pressure and prioritize the work accordingly
- Should have strong negotiation skills
