Budgeting and planning:
- Prepare and continuously update data on primary and secondary channel partners & market information.
- Analyze and foresee future market trends and prepare a sales budget in line with the growth objectives to continuously improve market share.
- Prepare a detailed sales plan calendared at primary customer level (distributor level)
- Plan the secondary sales with each distributor for their customers at a monthly and quarterly basis.
Distribution:
- Analyze the distribution reach and improve distribution by adding or consolidating the distribution network to have adequate reach and penetration in each important market.
- Ensure market discipline and trade practices in the distribution network.
- Ensure product availability at each distributor as per the requirements and demand planning.
- Ensure high distributor motivation and business alignment through effective stakeholder management.
Sales and receivables:
- Implement the marketing strategies to build the brand and generate demand from the end users.
- Plan and drive the secondary sales of products in collaboration with the distributors and Project Officers.
- Ensure efficient utilization of Project Officers to drive secondary sales/liquidation targets.
- Achieve the sales objectives as per the calendarized plan by implementing the segment wise selling strategies.
- Identify new opportunities in the market and convert into business while ensuring corporate compliance.
- Communicate the sales incentive/promotional schemes to the customers and document the same; monitor progress to get maximum sales benefits from the schemes.
- Assign appropriate credit limit to the customers and ensure operations within the credit limit without any loss of sales on account of credit limit. Ensure payment by the customers within agreed/budgeted credit period.
- Monitor & guide distributor to ensure business transaction in a compliant way.
Required Candidate profile:-
- Graduate – BSc. / B.Pharm preferred, master’s degree would be a plus.
- More than 5 years’ experience in Sales, distributor sales.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Should be able to communicate in Kannada.
- Should be smart, and pro-active.
