Responsibilities:

• Invoicing and Billing:

  • Generate and issue accurate and timely invoices to customers.

  • Verify billing data and resolve discrepancies.

  • Maintain a systematic record of all invoices and transactions.

• Customer Account Management:

  • Monitor customer accounts for timely payments.

  • Address and resolve customer inquiries related to invoices and payments.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate invoicing.

• Collections:

  • Implement and maintain an effective collections process.

  • Follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate payment arrangements.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate stakeholders.

• Cash Application:

  • Apply payments to customer accounts accurately and promptly.

  • Reconcile payments received with outstanding invoices.

• Reporting:

  • Prepare regular AR aging reports.

  • Provide management with insights into receivables status.

• Process Improvement:

  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline AR processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus.

• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
