Accountant

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic event company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing, accounts payable, and receivables.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure proper financial management.
• Prepare and process payroll in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Track and analyze financial data, producing regular reports for management.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end financial closings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information for budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitor expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and maintaining budgetary controls.
• Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Work closely with external auditors during periodic audits.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial data management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with tax regulations related to events and entertainment industry is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
