Wns - Operational Risk Management Role (12-18 Yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities:
As an Operational Risk manager, the incumbent will be analysing business's day-to-day operations and identifying risks that may arise from process work steps, internal challenges, mismanagement, and breakdowns and assessing risks across various business processes of the company and evaluating the consequences of their occurrence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform Operational Risk identification and assessment in business processes
- Recommend and ensure implementation of controls to prevent, eliminate and mitigate Operational Risks
- Track and monitor operating risk issues for business units.
- Coordinate with senior management in performing Operational Risk reviews, reporting risk status and addressing issues/ concerns within timeline
- Define and monitor effectiveness of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for Operational Risks
- Keep abreast of latest Operational Risk Management techniques and industry best practices
- Ensure that Risk Management staff is properly supervised, performs risk assessment with planned approach and within agreed timeline
Professional Qualification:
- 8-10 years of Risk Management experience post qualification including 4 years in managerial position
- Ability to demonstrate decisiveness and sound judgment consistently
- Detailed knowledge of the general tools and techniques of Operational Risk Management, project management skills
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills at senior levels
- Good presentation and report writing skills
- CA/MBA ( Finance) - post grad experience is mandatory
