Project Role :
Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role Description :
Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.
Must have skills :
Vmware Virtualization Administration,Microsoft Windows Server Administration

Minimum
4 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification :
A: 15 years of full-time education
Key Reponsibilities :
A: Provision on ESXi clusters, ESXi host patching
B: Ensure performance, security, and availability of resources in Vcenter clusters
C: Prepare documentations and specifications
D: Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc
E: Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
F: Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Technical Experience :
A: Should have 4 to 5 strong proficiencies in Server Hardware Knowledge Vxrail, Vxrack
B: Knowledge in Service now ticketing tool
C: Vendor coordination with VMware, HP, Dell, Nutanix, Microsoft
D: Decent experience with recent versions of VMware
E: Knowledge in Nutanix / Prism
F: Knowledge in Vcenter appliances
G: Knowledge in Platform service controllers
H: Proficient in Power CLI Scripts
I: Knowledge in VMware ESXi host hypervisor
Professional Attributes :
A: Good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization
B: Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision
A: Should be open to work in shifts
