Key responsibilities:
1. Research Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define research objectives, scope, and methodologies. Plan and execute research activities such as user interviews, surveys, usability tests, and field studies.
2. User Interviews: Conduct qualitative research by interviewing users to understand their goals, preferences, pain points, and behaviours. Synthesize insights from interviews to inform product decisions.
3. Surveys: Design and distribute surveys to gather quantitative data about user demographics, preferences, and satisfaction levels. Analyze survey results to identify trends and patterns.
4. Usability Testing: Organize and facilitate usability testing sessions to evaluate prototypes or existing products. Observe participants as they interact with the product, identify usability issues, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
5. Persona Development: Create user personas based on research findings to represent different user segments. Personas help the team empathize with users and make user-centered design decisions.
6. Journey Mapping: Map out user journeys to visualize the end-to-end experience of using a product or service. Identify pain points and opportunities for improvement throughout the user journey.
7. Competitive Analysis: Research competitors' products and analyze their strengths and weaknesses. Identify industry trends and best practices to inform product strategy.
