As the Global Shared Services Transition Manager and Intake Enablement Expert you will be responsible for helping assess new growth and future growth in our global Finance Operations SSC footprint. You will help drive significant transitions across the world into our Finance Operations hubs. You will also help to drive brand ambassadorship of Finance Operations to  help create and Engaging Culture with both our Employees and our Customers, current and future. You will collaborate with functional leaders in P2P, OTC, R2R and other finance areas to identify new scope and development opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Transition Planning: Develop comprehensive transition plans outlining key milestones, timelines, resources, and dependencies to ensure successful execution of finance operations transitions.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, legal, and business units to align transition objectives with overall business goals. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and solicit feedback throughout the transition process.
  3. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize finance processes and procedures during transitions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  4. Risk Management: Assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to finance operations during transitions. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls throughout the transition process.
  5. Change Management: Lead change management efforts to facilitate smooth transitions for finance teams and stakeholders. Provide guidance, support, and training to employees impacted by changes in financial processes or systems.
  6. Data Migration: Coordinate the migration of financial data from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
  7. Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress of finance operations transitions. Identify and address any issues or bottlenecks that may arise during the transition process. Baslining in advance of Transition.
  8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of transition activities, decisions, and outcomes. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations.
  9. Post-Transition Support: Provide ongoing support and assistance to finance teams following the completion of transitions. Address any post-implementation issues or concerns and implement corrective actions as needed.

Growth and Intake (Post Initial Transition in BAU world)


  • Develop and execute the short-term and long-term Growth strategy
  • Help maintain the Shared Services Service Catalogue for all service lines. Responsible for managing a periodic review of services delivered and update of service catalogue
  • Work closely with leadership to define the service offerings required to meet the needs of the Business Unit partners
  • Liaises with the Management team to identify opportunities for providing additional or alternative services for Business Unit partners
  • Will be responsible for creation of a new NIQ Assessment In Take Framework
  • You will help design the scorecard for new opportunities
  • You run all new opportunities through the funnel
  • Works with the Strategy and Enablement to define the transition needs for new solutions and provides oversight for the execution of transitions relevant to the new solutions
  • You will work closely with our Transition leads as we migrate new work into the SSCs
  • You will work with the transition lead to ensure milestones are met
  • You may even act as a transition lead for certain upcoming projects
  • Understand Activity Analysis breakdown
  • Look to work with GPOs and SDLs to help standardize the portfolio both within regions and across regions
  • Find new partnerships, both large and small, with a focus on growing the customer base.
  • Create and execute high-growth marketing campaigns.
  • Create and maintain the marketing plan, ensuring continual improvement using hard data.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • At least 8-10+  years of hands-on experience in handing Transitions into offshore delivery centers
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and deliver measurable operational improvements.
  • Knowledge of compliance and risk management within shared services operations.
  • Data and tech savvy
  • Working knowledge and expertise of Teams, Power BI and other reporting and workflow tools
  • 8-10+ years of progressive Finance / Shared Services/Global Business Services experience, would be helpful
  • Knowledge of end-to-end process areas, i.e. Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Order to Cash; is highly preferred
  • PC literacy: Ability to quickly learn and productively use new software applications.
  • Advanced working knowledge on MS Office (Mainly Excel) and preferably other reporting tools – SQL etc.
  • SharePoint / Power BI / Business Object and workflow tools like Service now knowledge is an added asset.
  • International experience – Self-awareness of communication styles and cultural differences
  • Good understanding of how operations work in GBS, SSCs, GCC
  • Experience of finance operations process such as P2P, R2R, OTC
  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster innovation and collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for process improvement.
  • A track record of identifying operational improvements, cost savings, and new growth initiatives within a global shared services context.
  • Prior Transition Experience
  • Expertise on running a Transition Plan
  • Project Management Skills and Experience would be mandatory
  • Vendor Management Skills or experience would be highly valuable as we work with external parties.
  • Helping develop KPIs related to new processes and in take
  • Creative capabilities
  • Ability to create engaging communications and marketing material to promote our SSC
