About the job
Responsibilities aka "Your Impact":
- Lead coordination and planning for project activities to ensure that the processes run smoothly
- Where needed, work directly with vendors to ensure cost-effective service utilization and monitor internally for changes in budget or spend
- Manage the interaction between engineering, product and other functions by identifying priorities, defining cross-functional milestones, and coordinating schedules.
- Own project documentation, status tracking, and communication between stakeholders to ensure delivery and overall project health
- Contribute to an environment that's conducive to a great execution culture and removes obstacles to project completion
Essential Job Qualifications aka "Keys to Success":
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager including experience launching / executing projects and prior experience managing software projects through their full lifecycle
- Proven ability to solve complicated problems creatively and effectively
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills, empathy for the needs of all stakeholders, and a track record of delivering projects
- An appreciation for software engineering and product management practices and ability to advocate for stakeholders and product owners as needed
- Experience in a rapid growth of the organization, working cross-functionally with teams delivering enterprise software
- Strong bias for action, demonstrated ability to drive projects forward and an intrinsic ability to deal with ambiguity
Bonus Qualifications aka "Preferred, but not required":
- Fluency with any of the following tools: Jira, Confluence, Excel, Powerpoint, MIRO, MS Teams
- Understanding of micro-service delivery models
- Project Management / Agile certifications highly desired
What you need
- 4 year degree in Computer Science (preferred) or related technical/engineering degree
- Software development, particularly web-based and Software-as-a-Service experience preferred
- 2+ years experience managing Agile project delivery, knowledge of Agile (scrum/Kanban)
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage time-critical projects
- Experience with MS Office suite of products such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Ability to work effectively in teams and most importantly, work in a virtual environment
- Personal integrity, always honest and an unfailing personal ethic of "doing the right thing
