Position Purpose
The candidate will be responsible as a Techno Functional resource for executing the functional, regression tests, and creating Selenium scripts for regression tests. The candidate must have good hands-on experience on manual functional and Regression testing with Selenium experience. The candidate should have sound knowledge in agile methodology. We expect candidate to coordinate with onshore/offshore teams.
Good to have API automation skills as well
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
· Understanding testing principles and practices
· Ability to plan, design, and execute test cases
· Hands on Experience in automation(Selenium Java)
· Good Database skills and experience in writing SQL queries
· Ability to work to tight deadlines
· Able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
· Should have functional Specification Analysis Experience
· Must have good analytical skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to communicate effectively with IT teams as well as Business Teams
· Must be flexible, independent.
· Perform other testing-related duties as required
Contributing Responsibilities
· Work in close co-ordination with Business Analyst, Development team to Analyse test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements.
· Closely work with Dev teams/BA to resolve technical & business issues and to develop a good understanding of the project and testing objectives
· Develop a good understanding of Corporate Client Domain
· Take Ownership of the task and communicate the daily/weekly/monthly status effectively and Ensure all the deliverables are in line with Testing Governance
· Proactive in identifying Risks, planning respective mitigation actions and ensuring till closure
· Ensure effective test coverage to avoid any issues in UAT, pre-prod environments
· Responsible for Root cause analysis of UAT , Production incidents and action planning
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
· Techno Functional tester who can contribute in manual as well as automation activities
· Exposure to Jira, SQL
· Experience in Test Automation : Selenium, Java
· Exposure to Agile or hybrid model
