Requirement
Requirement for Technical Support for Telecom process. The role is considered a specialized telecom Engineer position and tasks often include troubleshooting end-to-end cellular technology knowledge & work experience with solving radio network-related issues of Ericsson Equipment.
Working experience technologies such as 5G and 4G networking. The candidate offer support for LTE and small cell projects, typically works with GSM, WCDMA, LTE & 5G architectures, specialized in ATT & T-Mobile network - Ericsson.
Responsibilities
# Main workplace duties of a RAN engineer include providing support and guidance on networks and maintaining network elements by providing remote assistance.
# Candidate may also perform network analysis to troubleshoot issues and coordinate communications between the customer, operations team, and field support systems. Creating and executing test cases and organizing field trials of a network are also important responsibilities.
Qualifications & Skills
Candidate typically possess a degree in computer science/ IT and networking/ Electronics & Telecommunication. This includes fields such as wireless technology and networking certifications that provide them with more knowledge. Knowledge of 5G-NR, LTE, VoLTe, UMTS, and GSM architectures / interfaces is also recommended.
Candidate should have good Knowledge on:
· Ericsson Basebands (5216, 6630, 6648, 6651, XMU) DUW & DUG.
· Working knowledge of Ericsson OSS & ENM
· Should have knowledge on Technology like - 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G
· Basic troubleshooting knowledge
· Process of Integrations for different technology
· RET, TMA, RRUs, Antenna - Integration & commissioning knowledge
Candidate should have knowledge of Tools (ATT)
• RFDS understanding
• RETROFIT/RET/External alarm etc scripting
Candidate should have knowledge of Tools (T-Mobile)

• Slipped
• Scripting knowledge
• Router knowledge (NOKIA - SAS, EXR/MAD, IXRE)
• Pronghorn (IXRE – Scripting)
