Roles & Responsibilities
- Android Application developer is responsible for Software coding, Static Code Analysis, Unit testing, integration testing and Defect analysis & fix of android based applications in automotive Infotainment production program
- Ensure that the construction and presentation of your apps are congruent with the project's standards
- Collaborate with a team of developers, designers, testers and architects to ensure that each application is presentable and in perfect working order.
- Continue to learn, grow, and help us tackle brand new challenges
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- 7+ years of strong programming experience in Java and other User Interface technologies with Object Oriented Programming design patterns
- 4+ years of experience in developing Android HMI / Application software for embedded products.
- Hands on experience in
- Android application development using SDK / NDK in Linux based environment
- MVP architecture based HMI designing and development
- Android O/P/Q experience on embedded products
- Android messaging frameworks
- Android Services and AIDL/binder communication
- Android development tool chain (debuggers, emulators, compilers, profiler,etc.).
- Proficient in source code version tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins and static code analysis tool like sonarQube, lint etc
- Good verbal and written communication skills
