Position Overview

Job Title- Operations Team Leader, AVP

Location- Pune, India

Role Description

Operations is responsible for driving the planning and the day-to-day management of the business to align with the bank's mission and strategic goals. Operations set the direction and manage performance to bank targets with a focus on continual performance improvement. Work includes: •Identifying and prioritizing product and service improvement opportunities and creating plans for implementation •utilising comprehensive knowledge of the company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business •Supporting bank strategy, proactively identifying and managing areas of risk •Maintaining relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders including regulators, market vendors and internal divisions •Communicating changes to operational requirements and their impact on relevant processes and controls.

Your key responsibilities

Operation Stability:

  • Responsible for handling of Fund Accounting related booking activities and associated inquiries, as well as billing, invoice validation and trailer & management fee tasks for international mandates and funds.
  • Ensure seamless completion of all daily deliverables with utmost accuracy and predefined KRIs/KPIs.
  • Maintain high quality support for RTB.
  • Sound understanding of all functions and systems.
  • Cross utilization and optimal use of resources and personnel to mitigate process breakdown during contingencies.
  • Ensure resiliency objectives are met successfully.
  • Focused efforts to continuously improve overall business delivery quality.
  • Ensure a healthy and hygiene working environment within the team.
  • Ensure to establish a healthy collaboration between teams to meet the common objectives of the team and organization.
  • Adherence to best practices.
  • Accountable for defining procedures and operating processes in line with functional specifications and keeping those up-to-date.
  • Accountable for identifying and implementing standardization and improvements across the relevant processes of the capability.
  • Ensuring timely escalation of critical topics as and when identified. NIL stakeholders and/or client escalations.
  • Regular process review and proactively identify risk topics and effective & timely mitigations.
  • Extend all required support and expertise for the success of Project Proteus.
  • Absolute ownership and accountability of tasks performed by the team.

Audit:

  • Ensure KOP and other process related documents and guidelines are kept up to date with the latest changes to process delivery work-flows and necessary sign-offs are obtained from auth approvers.
  • NIL overdue Audit findings and SIIs.

People:

  • Regular connects with the team and team members.
  • Mentoring colleagues aspiring for career progression.
  • Minimal attrition in the team.
  • People engagement and involvement of team members for initiatives including training and development plans.
  • Encourage speak-up culture within the team.
  • Appreciative to good performance of team members.
  • Ensure performance reviews are fair, transparent and clearly tied to the role requirements and performance targets

Your skills and experience

  • Manage leaves by planning ahead and minimizing unplanned leaves – number of instances of unplanned leaves. Update leaves in Workday.

  • Successful delivery on key CTB initiatives and efficiency projects to support the goals of DWS.
