Job Description
- Gathering and normalizing data from multiple data sources
- Create, test, and publish dashboards and reports, as well as schedule refreshes.
- Advanced Level of experience in design & creation of Tableau applications and/or administration of Tableau Platforms.
- Advanced level of experience in Tableau, and report/data mart modelling is must.
- Advanced knowledge of Tableau server management is desirable.
- The role will also require some knowledge of data engineering and exploring the source systems from which data flows into our central data warehouses.
- Test quality of data by comparing the output of the dashboard with the database.
Primary Skills
- Deliver full-cycle Tableau development projects, from business needs assessment and data discovery, through solution design, to delivery to internal stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership and support across all aspects of Tableau development and use, from data specification development, through DataMart development, to supporting end-user dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with IT teams and business experts to implement data-driven policies and initiatives throughout the enterprise.
- Create, create, and update Tableau dashboards and analytics.
- Gather, clean, and prepare data for analytics and visualization.
- Create reports using a variety of graphical and data modelling techniques.
- Provide best practices and industry standards to guide BI strategy development.
- Ensure a consistent design and/or approach for analytics across the business areas.
