Supply and Demand Specialist

AXA XL are creating a new delivery model based on agile and a new vendor model to enable more efficient delivery of technology with the business fully embedded in what we deliver. This Digital Factory will first deliver new capabilities for Fusion Transformation and then will be rolled out to other capabilities within GT (Global Technology) and IDA (Innovation, Data & Analytics).
As a Supply and Demand Specialist within the Digital Factory Office, you will play a pivotal role in enabling smooth delivery and operations of the Digital Factory across several areas. You will report to the Digital Factory Office lead who is part of the Digital Factory Leadership team. Your responsibilities will encompass Supply and Demand management of resources, people management, time reporting, financial management, and vendor management support. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent coordination, communication, and organizational skills.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
Supply and Demand Management of Resources
  • Support Digital Factory Leadership with resources management by maintaining an accurate and up-to-date view of resources availability and allocations - both internal and external from different vendors and contracts
  • Work closely with product owners and scrum masters of agile product squads (and other stakeholders) to forecast and coordinate need for additional resources in line with approved budgets for resources
  • Work closely with recruiting/HR to orchestrate the staffing/recruiting process
People Management (in alignment with HR)
  • Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of team members and contractors, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with HR policies and procedures
Time Reporting and Financial Management
  • Work closely with IT finance team to manage Digital Factory financials, e.g. Strategic financial planning and budgeting of Digital Factory, forecasting and actuals tracking, chargeback, funding requests, etc.)
  • Work closely with PMO team to maintain accurate and disciplined time reporting and tracking
  • Provide financial reports and analysis to support decision-making related to resource allocation and budget management
Vendor Management Support
  • Collaborate with IT procurement to onboard and manage vendors providing services to the Digital Factory
  • Assist Digital Factory leadership and procurement with monitoring vendor performance (based on defined vendor KPIs and SLAs)
  • Maintain vendor contract inventory including expiration dates, specific terms and conditions, etc.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
  • Knowledge of scaled agile methodologies (SAFe certification is desirable), resources management, forecasting techniques, financial management, people management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage conflicts and promote a collaborative team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards addressing challenges.
  • Familiarity with agile tools and software, such as JIRA, Planview and Confluence
  • Strong understanding of financial planning cycles and reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field and/or prior experience working within the technology industry or related sectors. Master's degree is a plus.
